Tra queste, soprattutto per <strong>ristrutturazione, riparazione, pulizia o risanamento del calcestruzzo<\/strong>, rientra l\u2019idrodemolizione.<\/p>\n<p>Il ripristino del calcestruzzo \u00e8 uno dei lavori pi\u00f9 diffusi in edilizia, in quanto le armature in acciaio si corrodono nel tempo a causa della carbonatazione, procurando gravi danni al cemento armato. Le conseguenze sono visibili con la formazione di crepe e scheggiature del calcestruzzo, le quali determinano la necessit\u00e0 di intervenire con la ristrutturazione per preservare la capacit\u00e0 di carico statico della struttura.<\/p>\n<p>Un intervento che si pu\u00f2 effettuare con metodi meccanici tradizionali o, appunto, mediante idrodemolizione. A differenza di un martello pneumatico, infatti, la forza applicata dal getto d\u2019acqua \u00e8 estremamente mirata e <strong>non penetra in profondit\u00e0<\/strong> n\u00e9 viene trasferita per via strutturale, <strong>evitando la formazione di crepe da tensione<\/strong>. Mentre la <strong>pressione di accumulo<\/strong> supera la resistenza a trazione del calcestruzzo, il <strong>volume dell\u2019acqua<\/strong> contribuisce al procedimento aumentando la <strong>velocit\u00e0 di rimozione<\/strong> del materiale.<\/p>\n<p>La combinazione di pressione e volume, insieme alla <strong>precisione<\/strong> regolata tramite l\u2019<strong>ugello a getto d\u2019acqua<\/strong>, costituiscono tutta l\u2019efficacia del processo di idrodemolizione. Alcuni studi, inoltre, hanno accertato che l\u2019idrodemolizione <strong>estende la durata della struttura trattata<\/strong>, con una durata della riparazione tra i 21 e 35 anni contro i soli 7-12 anni ottenibili dal taglio meccanico.<\/p>\n<p>Evitando vibrazioni e impatti, poi, l\u2019armatura non si allenta, <strong>non si creano microfratture e si protegge l\u2019integrit\u00e0 del substrato di cemento armato<\/strong>. Martelli pneumatici e fresatrici, peraltro, possono lasciare strati di polvere e causare sul cemento residuo fessure ampie anche 20 millimetri, ovvero rendendo la superficie non pronta a recepire un nuovo strato di cemento e compromettendo l\u2019incollaggio del nuovo getto di calcestruzzo. Con l\u2019idrodemolizione, al contrario, la superficie dell\u2019armatura rimane intatta e <strong>ruggine e detriti vengono rimossi<\/strong> perfettamente.<\/p>\n<p>All\u2019aumento dell\u2019efficacia corrisponde inoltre una<strong> riduzione di manodopera<\/strong>, sforzo e rischi di infortuni degli operatori.
