pistoni ad alta pressione.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019esempio pi\u00f9 noto \u00e8 quello delle idropulitrici nel settore del cleaning, ma l\u2019<strong>emissione di un getto pressurizzato <\/strong>non viene utilizzato solo per le pulizie, ed \u00e8 molto lunga la lista dei campi nei quali vengono impiegati strumenti che sfruttano le pompe a pistoni per generare <strong>una forte variazione di pressione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Cominciamo, per\u00f2, analizzando innanzitutto come funzionano questi potenti e versatili sistemi.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" <strong>pompare grandi quantitativi di liquidi e fluidi<\/strong> all\u2019interno di circuiti e tubazioni.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 questo, come gi\u00e0 accennato, il principio di funzionamento basilare che accomuna numerosi strumenti professionali, differenti tra loro solo per il fluido, la portata e la pressione da pompare. Riprendendo l\u2019esempio dell\u2019idropulitrice: generando un getto d\u2019acqua ad elevata potenza con una pompa a pistoni si aziona il macchinario per le pulizie domestiche o professionali. Tale pressione si genera nella camera azionando delle <strong>valvole<\/strong>, sia nel punto di aspirazione che in quello di mandata, e raggiunge valori che variano da <strong>10 a 2800 bar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La camera di tenuta, infatti, presenta un\u00a0<strong>ingresso<\/strong> per aspirare il fluido nella pompa e un&#8217;<strong>uscita<\/strong>\u00a0per pompare effettivamente il fluido nel sistema di erogazione: la presenza, in questi due punti, di apposite valvole assicura la <strong>pressurizzazione<\/strong> e\u00a0il movimento del materiale da pompare in una sola direzione.<\/p>\n<p>Quando il pistone si allontana dall&#8217;ingresso, crea un vuoto, quindi un&#8217;<strong>aspirazione<\/strong>: la\u00a0valvola si apre automaticamente\u00a0e il materiale viene aspirato\u00a0nella camera del cilindro. Quando il pistone viene spinto nella direzione opposta, cio\u00e8 verso l&#8217;uscita, la pressione solleva l&#8217;elemento di chiusura della valvola di uscita e il\u00a0<strong>materiale alimentato pistoni sono molto simili alle pompe a membrana ma presentano il vantaggio principale di essere progettate per un uso molto frequente e ripetuto e per\u00a0<strong>resistere all\u2019alta pressione.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A seconda della pressione d\u2019esercizio che sopportano, infatti, possiamo distinguere tra:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pompe a\u00a0<strong>bassa pressione<\/strong>: inferiore a 10.000 psi (69 MPa);<\/li>\n<li>Pompe a\u00a0<strong>media pressione<\/strong>: compresa tra 10.000 e 15.000 psi (da 69 a 103 MPa);<\/li>\n<li>Pompe ad\u00a0<strong>alta pressione<\/strong>: compresa tra 15.000 e 40.000 psi (da 103 a 276 MPa);<\/li>\n<li>Pompe a\u00a0<strong>ultra alta pressione<\/strong>: compresa tra 40.000 psi e 75.000 psi (da 276 a 517 Pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata per la pulizia nei pi\u00f9 disparati campi industriali, su diverse superfici e per svariate applicazioni.<\/p>\n<p>Viene definita anche <strong>sabbiatura a getto d\u2019acqua<\/strong> in quanto capace di \u201craschiare\u201d strati indesiderati di materiali ostinati da superfici interne ed esterne, con la semplice forza dell\u2019acqua e senza ricorrere alla sabbia o ad altri abrasivi.<\/p>\n<p>Attraverso l\u2019utilizzo di <strong>tubi ad alta pressione, lance ed ugelli speciali<\/strong>, ad esempio, le unit\u00e0 da water blasting permettono di rimuovere grasso e olio da pavimenti e macchinari o di ripristinare superfici metalliche arrugginite.<\/p>\n<p>Questi impianti si avvalgono di pompe a diversa pressione per compiere, rispettivamente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>idropulizia ad alta pressione<\/strong>: dagli 800 bar (11.600 psi) ai 1500 bar (21.750 psi)<\/li>\n<li><strong>idropulizia ad ultra alta pressione<\/strong>: oltre i 1500 bar (21.750 psi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Con lo stesso principio, l\u2019acqua pressurizzata viene adoperata anche il <strong>taglio a getto d\u2019acqua<\/strong> su metalli, plastica, pietra, vetro, ceramica e altri materiali, senza l\u2019utilizzo di lame, seghe o fiamme.<\/p>\n<p>Il water blasting comprende anche l\u2019<strong>idroscarifica<\/strong>, ovvero la rimozione selettiva di calcestruzzo ammalorato da pareti e facciate con la sola forza della pressione del getto d\u2019acqua, senza trasferire alcuna forza per via strutturale ed\u00a0<strong>evitando la formazione di crepe da tensione<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019acqua spuzzata dalle pompe ad alta pressione, attraverso lance collegate a specifici ugelli, penetra le superfici in calcestruzzo attraversando le porosit\u00e0 e crea una pressione interna talmente forte da causare il distacco delle parti ammalorate, conservando e preservando parti sane e armature. L\u2019acqua pressurizzata, infatti, allarga le microfratture presenti nella struttura indebolita; pertanto, la pressione di accumulo supera la resistenza a trazione del calcestruzzo e fa distaccare
